Description
I love photographing water lilies. I captured the image I used for this piece near the end of the lily's life span, so the petals were a little wrinkly. I wanted to see how those textures and little shadows and highlights would look when I adjusted the colors and vibrancy. I made several versions in different colors, but this was my favorite.

I'm so glad you like it! It's one of my favorites, too. I had just discovered 'liquefy' and was practicing on a truly *awful* photograph. I love that I could turn something bad into something so cool!
